The MC-ESB11-x20x Series is a Fast Ethernet media converter designed to convert 10/100BASE-TX copper to 100BASE-BX single fiber. This media converter uses Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, enabling Bi-Directional communication over a single fiber, doubling the capacity of your existing fiber infrastructure without having to install new cabling.
The MC-ESB11-x20x is manufactured with the latest IC packages from the USA or Taiwan and a high-quality fiber optical transceiver, which provides a good electrical characteristic to ensure reliable data transmission and long working life. 6 Group LED indicated lights could fully monitor the working conditions of Media Converters. It is easy for end-users to observe network operations. This media converter provides external power as default, it can be as a stand-alone unit or inserted into Optcore’s low-cost 14-slot Media Converter Rack Chassis (MC-RACK-14) that allows all the media converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
The MC-ESB11-x20x series 10/100BASE-TX to 100BASE-BX WDM media converter provides 20 km(12.4 miles) transmit distance over a single fiber at the wavelength of 1310nm-TX/1550nm-RX or 1550nm-TX/1310nm-RX. It is provided with SC, ST, and FC connector options for different users.

very satisfied. A fiber optic cable is sufficient for the network cable and monitoring of the warehouse to the office.

This type of media converter is quite inexpensive, and it saves a lot of cost by using a conventional Ethernet connection for existing Ethernet. We have a building across the street from the main office, all of which we run on fiber, but we don’t want to buy expensive switches. With this device, we can convert a fiber to copper Ethernet. It’s full speed, and we’re on this connection just over 100 MB/s (megabytes, not bits). we will purchase more if needed.
