The MC-GSA11-L-SM20KM is a Gigabit SFP media converter designed to convert 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 copper to 1000BASE-LX LC fiber optic. It includes a 1000BASE-LX SFP Singlemode 1310nm transceiver module and allows you to extend a Gigabit Ethernet network to 20km (12.4 miles) over Singlemode fiber. This LC Singlemode media converter provides external power as default. It can be used as a stand-alone unit or slide-in module when inserted into Optcore’s low-cost 14-slot Media Converter Rack Chassis(MC-RACK-14) that allows all the fiber media converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
