Hi Pete,
Thanks for your question. You cannot connect the SFP+ to the SFP28 via a DAC. The two ends should have the same data speed. You should either connect with an SFP+ to an SFP+ DAC or an SFP28 to an SFP28 DAC. Check our SFP+ DAC or SFP28 DAC for details.
