Our client needs a mode converter to convert multimode to singlemode.  So we offer our MC-GSFP Gigabit Ethernet Fiber to Fiber Media Converter, SFP Slot.  The client\\\\\\\’s query is this:  The other switch is Cisco and the other switch is HP.  So we are to use Cisco-compatible SFP to connect to Cisco switch and HP-compatible SFP to connect to HP switch.  Is there no issue using Cisco-compatible SFP and HP-compatible switch on one MC-GSFP Gigabit Ethernet Fiber to Fiber Media Converter?

Any MSA compliant SFP may work on our MC-GSFP fiber converter, Cisco-compatible and HP-compatible SFP is all okay for this converter.
