I have here concern raised by client which we supplied just the other day 20pcs of Optcore GLC-LH-SMD-C. They used it to Cisco Router 1941 Series ISR and to Edgecore Switch ECS2100 Series. Got a call this morning informing me there’s no data received as they use our supplied transceiver.

My query is: Is our GLC-LH-SMD-C should work to Edgecore Switch ECS2100 Series? I will call the customer to update on this concern soon I got your reply. I told the client I will just escalate the issue to manufacturer and get back to them.

Yes, it should works with Edgecore switch. Please check the below questions with customer.
1. Fiber type: SMF or MMF
2: Fiber Length or link loss
3. Can the Edgecore switch recognize our SFP module?

our transceivers supplied work well now.  The issue was the patchcord they used, its defective already as they tried to isolate the problem.

They are happy with the 20 pcs transceivers we supply. And happy with your prompt support. I forwarded to them your email that confirms our transceivers supplied works with Edgecore.
