Optcore’s OSP155-312DCR-HW is a high-performance small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver for 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet application. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment.
The 100BASE-FX SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with HW networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Ethernet Media Converters. The OSP155-312DCR-HW is an ideal equivalent to HW SFP-FE-SX-MM1310 100BASE-FX SFP module but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP optics transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
The 100BASE-FX SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the FP laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
