Optcore’s OPB1250-5340DCR-RAD is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable (SFP) Bi-directional transceiver for 1000BASE-EX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The 1000BASE-BX SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with RAD networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters.

The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to RAD SFP-18B 1000BASE-BX40-D SFP Optics Module but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling. The 1000BASE-BX SFP optics provide 40km high-speed data links using a single strand of fiber, which can upgrade transmission capacity very convenient without installing new fibers. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
