This Generic SFP-10G-BX100-D compatible SFP+ BiDi transceiver supports 10GBASE-BX100 throughput up to 100km over a single strand of single-mode fiber (SMF). Unlike the regular SFP+, this 10G BiDi ZR100 transceiver features a simplex LC connector that integrates a cooled EML transmitter and an APD receiver. By utilizing the WDM technology, it can transmit a 1550nm wavelength and receive a 1490nm signal simultaneously on the same fiber. This design effectively doubles transmission capacity without requiring new fibers. It helps simplify the fiber cabling infrastructure and reduce network infrastructure costs. Optimized for ultra long-distance transmission, this BiDi SFP+ ZR100 is ideal for metropolitan area networks (MANs), campus networks, mobile backhaul networks, data center interconnect (DCI), and inter-building connectivity. Please note that this SFP+ BiDi ZR100 module must be used in matched pairs with another complementary wavelength.
