The QDD-400G-DAC-PxM direct attach copper cable assembly (also known as QSFP-DD DAC) is suitable for very short links and offers a highly cost-effective way to establish a 400 Gigabit link connectivity between devices using QSFP-DD ports. It is developed specifically as a cost-effective and lower-power replacement to 400G QSFP-DD SR8 transceiver optics and QSFP-DD active optical fiber (400G QSFP-DD AOC) for very short distances.
