Optcore’s 1000BASE-LX SFP transceiver offers a low-priced replacement for Edimax MG-1000AMB without lowering the quality of your fiber optic network connectivity. It is OPTCORE new SFP module made by a third-party manufacturer rather than Edimax to provide a cheaper transceiver with the same high-quality. This compatible MG-1000AMB supports 1G connectivity up to a maximum distance of 20km over single mode fiber (SMF) at a wavelength of 1310nm. This compatible SFP transceiver has been programmed and tested to work as the original Edimax MG-1000AMB 1000BASE-LX SFP optics. It is suitable for Edimax network switches, routers, firewalls, security gateway, fiber media converter, servers, NAS, accelerator card, network adapters and interface card (NICs).
