The Nvidia Ethernet MCP7Y50-N002 compatible cable is an 800G OSFP to 4x 200G OSFP DAC breakout cable. It targets short-distance connections between 800G NDR switches and 200G network interface cards (NICs) or host channel adapters (HCA). The DAC cable comprises sixteen pairs of differential copper cables, featuring one 800G OSFP connector and four 200G OSFP connectors. Furthermore, it also complies with OSFP MSA standards and IEEE 802.3ck specifications. With these features, it is suitable for 4x200G Ethernet and InfiniBand Next Data Rate (NDR). This splitter cable is perfect for establishing short links between 200G and 800G OSFP ports in data centers, such as artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and machine learning (ML) connectivity.
