Rather than paying expensive charges for genuine Allied Telesis SP10BD80-14, this compatible SFP+ BiDi transceiver allows you to reduce total fiber cabling costs. It has been programmed and tested to work with the original Allied Telesis SP10BD80-14 10GBASE-BX80-U SFP+ optics. This transceiver provides 10G bi-directional communication up to an 80km link over single-mode fiber (SMF). This compatible SP10BD80-14 works with Allied Telesis 10G network switches, routers, firewalls, security gateways, media converters, NAS, servers, network adapters, and interface cards (NICs). It offers a low-cost solution for fiber connectivity in large data centers, enterprise wiring closets, large campuses, Metro Area Networks, Remote Radio (RRU), and Baseband Units (BBU).
