This Cisco ONS-SI-2G-L1 compatible SFP industrial module is suitable for 2.5Gb/s serial optical data communications long reach the application, such as SDH STM-16 L-16.1/SONET OC-48 LR-1/2GFC. It supports a 40km transmission distance over single mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 1310nm. It has been programmed and tested to work with a wide range of Cisco industrial switches and routers. It performs identically to Cisco part number ONS-SI-2G-L1, allowing it to be ideally equivalent to original transceivers.
