This Planet MGB-TLA10 compatible SFP BiDi industrial transceiver supports 1G Bi-directional connectivity by using WDM technology. By integrating the 1310nm transmitter and 1550nm receiver into a simplex LC interface, it supports 10km to 20km link distance via a single mode fiber (SMF). It operates with half of the fiber cables, which reduces the total cost of fiber cabling infrastructure. As a third-party supplier, OPTCORE provides this SFP BiDi at a very affordable price when compared to the original MGB-TLA10.
Unlike the commercial transceiver, this 1000BASE-BX-U SFP BiDi industrial transceiver is made with hardened IC and optical components. It also passes extensive high and low temperature tests, allowing it to support an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Therefore, it is ideal for 1G BiDi industrial networks in harsh environments, including telecommunication, data processing and management, industrial and factory automation, machine control, surveillance, mining, oil and gas, rail, intelligent transportation systems (ITSs), and other outdoor applications.
