Unmanaged 1GBase-X Fiber SFP to 1GBase-X Fiber SFP OEO Media Converter (2x Open 1G SFP Port)
The MC-1G-2SFP are protocol-transparent unmanaged fiber-to-fiber media converters/transponders with data speeds ranging from 155Mbps to 1.25Gbps. It supports the flexible transmission of many network protocols and cabling media types. The Fiber-to-fiber media converters help to convert multimode fiber to single-mode fiber and dual fiber to single-fiber to offer seamless integration of different fiber types. It increases network distance by converting wavelengths (1310 to 1550), increasing optical power, and supporting the “3Rs” of Retime, Regenerate, and Reshape.
The fiber-to-fiber media converter has two available SFP slots. The SFP slot is compatible with multimode and single-mode fiber and CWDM/DWDM wavelengths. It is a plug-and-play media converter that requires no manual configuration. Connect the fiber wires to the proper interface to complete the installation.
