IBM 45W1216 Compatible 8G Fibre Channel 1310nm 10km SFP+ LR Optical Transceiver Module
Optcore’s OSP8G-3110DCR-IBM is a high performance small form factor pluggable SFP+ transceiver module for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) long reach applications, which provides links up to 10km over single mode fiber. This 8G SFP+ LR module features a highly reliable 1310nm DFB laser transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC optical connector. The 8G SFP+ module is comply with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472) and Fiber Channel FC-PI-4 800-SM-LC-L specifications.
This 8G FC SFP+ LR transceiver is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of IBM network equipment such as SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment, which makes it be an ideal equivalent to high-cost IBM 45W1216 (45W1218) 8G SFP+ optics module.
