IBM 45W0500 Compatible 8G Fibre Channel 850nm 300m SFP+ SR Optical Transceiver Module
Optcore’s OSP8G-8503DCR-IBM is a high performance small form factor pluggable SFP+ transceiver module for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) applications, which provides links up to 300m over OM3 multimode fiber. This 8G SFP+ SR module features a highly reliable 850nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC optical connector. The SFP+ module is comply with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472) and Fibre Channel FC-PI-4 specifications.
This 8G FC SFP+ SR transceiver is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of IBM network equipment such as SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment, which makes it be an ideal equivalent to high-cost IBM 45W0500 (45W0501) 8G SFP+ optics module.
