SFF 2×5 GPON ONT / ONU Transceiver Module (Class B+, Tx-1310nm/Rx-1490nm, 20km, SC, DDM)
Optcore’s OSF2G-GNU is a high performance and cost-effective SFF GPON ONT (also called GPON ONU) transceiver designed for Passive Optical Network (GPON) application, 2.488Gbps downstream and 1.244Gbps upstream. It is supplied in SFF 2×5 pin package with a single SC/UPC receptacle connector. It can fully support the Class B+ ODN application specified by the ITU-T G.984.2 Class B+ specifications. This GPON ONT / ONU transceiver module consists of 1310nm un-cool DFB laser, InGaAs/InP APD, Preamplifier and WDM filter in a high-integrated optical sub-assembly, and it receives up to 2.488Gbps of continuous data at 1490nm and transmits 1.244Gbps of burst-mode data at 1310nm. This transceiver is Class 1 laser product complies with the IEC 60825-1 and IEC 60825-2, and it is ROHS6 compliant.
