This Cisco GLC-GE-100FX compatible module is a high performance and cost-effective 100BASE-FX SGMII SFP transceiver. It is designed for gigabit SFP ports applications, with built-in PHY device supporting SGMII interface (Serial Gigabit Media Independent Interface). The module provides data link up to 2km on 50/125um multi-mode fiber.  This module is programmed and tested at the factory, to guarantee compatibility with Cisco Ethernet switches, Ethernet routers, network interface cards (NICs) and Ethernet media converters. It is equivalent to Cisco GLC-GE-100FX and perform identically to an OEM transceiver, but provided with far less price to meet your low-cost fiber cabling network needs.
