Optcore’s OPC10G-xx80DCR-CSC is a high-performance and cost-effective Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) SFP+ transceiver for 10GBase-ZR Ethernet application. It fully complies with the SFP+ Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA)SFF-8431 and can be used on the MSA-compliant networking equipment. It provides a maximum transmission distance of 80km over single-mode fiber. It is available for 8 CWDM channels from 1470 nm to 1610 nm wavelengths, which helps the customer increase the bandwidth of an existing fiber infrastructure without adding new fiber strands. This CWDM SFP+ transceiver need use with CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer (CWDM Mux/Demux) that is separately sold by Optcore. This 10GBase-ZR CWDM SFP+ optical module support digital diagnostic functions via a 2-wire serial interface as defined by the SFF-8472 specification. It is a Class 1 laser product that complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.

The OPC10G-xx80DCR-CSC CWDM SFP+ transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment such as switches, routers, NICs, and other optical transport devices for 10G Ethernet and high-speed storage area networks(SAN). It is an ideal equivalent to the Cisco CWDM-SFP10G-1470~1610 SFP optics module at a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible 10G CWDM SFP+ optics solution for system integrators, distributors, and end-users in data center networking infrastructure.
