This HPE AW538A compatible transceiver is 8G SFP+ long wave transceiver, providing maximum link distance of 10km over single-mode fiber cable. it is designed for 8Gbps long wave fiber channel connectivity application. It is programmed to ensure working with HP 8G FC SAN switches, servers and blade chassis, which makes it be an ideal equivalent to high-cost HPE AW584A 8Gb SFP+ LW module.
