This Allied Telesis AT-SPBD10-14 compatible SFP BiDi module supports 1G Bi-directional connectivity by using WDM technology. By integrating the 1490nm DFB transmitter and 1310nm PIN receiver into a simplex LC interface, it supports 10km to 20km link distance via a single mode fiber (SMF). Compared with a regular SFP, this BiDi transceiver allows end-users to reduce the total cost of fiber cabling infrastructure by requiring only half of the fiber cables. That provides increased transmission capacity and simplifies installation without the need for new fibers. As a third-party supplier, OPTCORE provides this SFP BiDi at a very affordable price when compared to the original AT-SPBD10-14. Most importantly, we code and test each unit to ensure it works with the Allied Telesis Gigabit Ethernet switches, routers, servers, and NICs.
