Optcore’s OGB1250-CU01NCR-ATE is a high performance and cost-effective Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) module for 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the GBIC Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The 1000BASE-T GBIC module is tested to be compatible with Allied Telesis networking equipment with GBIC slots such as Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs). The OGB1250-CU01NCR-ATE is an ideal equivalent to Allied Telesis AT-G8T 1000BASE-T Copper GBIC transceiver module but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible GBIC transceiver optics solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling. The 1000BASE-T GBIC module supports 1000Mbps data rate up to 100 meters reach over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cables.
