8Gb/s Fibre Channel DWDM 100GHz XFP ZR 80km Optical Transceiver Module
Optcore’s OXD8G-xx80DCR is a high performance and cost-effective DWDM XFP ZR optical transceiver for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing applications, which provides an extended high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. This transceiver provides links up to 80km over single mode fiber. It features a high performance DWDM EML transmitter and APD diode into a duplex LC optical connector. This 8G DWDM XFP module operates on a nominal wavelength of 100GHz ITU Grid, C-Band DWDM wavelength.
The OXD8G-xx80DCR transceiver module complies with XFP MSA specifications, Fiber Channel FC-PI-4 800-SM-LL-L specifications. It’s suitable for use with SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment that support XFP slot.
The 8G DWDM XFP ZR optical transceiver need uses with DWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer (DWDM Mux/Demux) that is separately sold by Optcore.
