Optcore’s OXP8G-8503DCR is a high performance and cost-effective XFP SR transceiver module for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) applications, which provides links up to 300m over OM3 multimode fiber. This 8G XFP transceiver module features a highly reliable 850nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC optical connector. The OXP8G-8503DCR module complies with XFP MSA specifications and Fiber Channel FC-PI-4 800-M5/M6/M5E-LC-I specifications. It’s suitable for use with SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment that support XFP slot.
The 8G fiber channel XFP SR transceiver module has been integrated with an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI), which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage. All SFP+ transceivers module are Class 1 laser products comply with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
