8Gb/s Fibre Channel 1310nm 10km SFP+ LR Optical Transceiver Module
Optcore’s OSP8G-3110DCR is a high-performance small form factor pluggable SFP+ transceiver module for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) long reach applications, which provides links up to 10km over single mode fiber. This 8G SFP+ LR module features a highly reliable 1310nm DFB laser transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC optical connector. The 8G SFP+ module complies with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472) and Fiber Channel FC-PI-4 800-SM-LC-L specifications. It’s suitable for use with SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment.
Additionally, the 8G fiber channel SFP+ transceiver module has been integrated with an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI) per SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage. All SFP+ transceivers module are Class 1 laser products comply with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
