Optcore’s OSP622-8505DCR is a high-performance small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver module for duplex optical data
communications such as SDH STM-4/SONET OC-12 and 622Mb/s ATM short-reach application. This SFP transceiver module provides 550m transmission distance over multimode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The transmitter section uses an 850nm VCSEL laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed InGaAs PIN photodiode (PD) and a trans-impedance preamplifier. The 622Mbps SFP module series is fully compliant with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please see SFP MSA and SFF-8472 standard.
