This IBM 44X1964 compatible SFP+ transceiver provides a high-performance pluggable module for 8Gb Fibre Channel-SW applications, which provides links up to 300m over OM3 multimode fiber. It has been programmed and tested to ensure works with a wide range of IBM network equipment such as SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment, which makes it be an ideal equivalent to high-cost IBM 8GB SFP+ SW optical transceiver (44X1964).
