2.5G Single-mode 1310nm 20km  SFP Transceiver Module for SDH STM-16 S-16.1/SONET OC-48 IR-1/2x Fibre Channel

Optcore’s OSP2488-3120DCR is a high-performance small form factor pluggable SFP module for 2.5Gb/s serial optical data communications such as SDH STM-16 S-16.1/SONET OC-48 IR-1/2x Fibre Channel application. This SFP transceiver module provides 20km transmission distance over single mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 1310nm. The transmitter section incorporates a 1310nm DFB laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed InGaAs PIN photodiode (PD) and trans-impedance preamplifier. The 2.5Gb/s SFP module series is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please see SFP MSA and SFF-8472 standard.

Additionally, the OSP2488-3120DCR SFP module also features a digital diagnostic interface per SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, laser average output power and received optical power. These parameters are internally calibrated by default.
