Optcore’s OSF155-5580NxR is a high-performance small form factor SFF optical transceiver for high-speed duplex optical data
communications networks such as 100BASE-ZX Fast Ethernet and SDH/SONET OC-3/STM-1 long reach applications. This SFF module provides 80km transmission distance over single mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm. The transmitter section uses a 1550nm DFB laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed InGaAs PIN photodiode (PD) and trans-impedance preamplifier. The 155Mbps SFF transceiver module series is fully compliant with SFF Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA).
