Optcore’s 100GEBASE-LR4 CFP Optical transceiver is designed for 4x25G OTN client interfaces and 100G Ethernet links over single mode fiber. It conforms to CFP MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, and OTU4 4I1-9D1F, Provides digital diagnostics through the MDIO interface. It converts the 4 input channel into a 4-channel LAN WDM optical signal, then it is multiplexed as a single-channel to realize 100Gb/s optical transmission. At the receiver side, the module converts the 100Gb/s optical input into a 4-channel LAN WDM optical signal and transforms it into a 4-channel electrical data output channel. The 100GEBASE-LR4 CFP module is a hot-pluggable multi-rate optical transceiver, with a data rate of up to 25.8Gbps per channel. It’s suitable for 10km links telecom and datacom applications.
