10G Media Converter

Optcore 10G Media Converter allows connectivity between 10 Gigabit Ethernet copper and 10GBASE-X fiber. It offers a cost-effective way to increase the distance of an existing 10G network and the lifespan of a non-fiber-based device. They are ideal for ultra-high bandwidth networking where 10G Ethernet is needed, including data center cloud computing, enterprise backbones, campus networks, SOHO networks, and carrier infrastructure.

These 10G media converters feature one 10G SFP+ port, supporting singlemode, multimode, CWDM, and DWDM transceivers for a maximum 100km link distance. While the copper port features one or two RJ45 auto-negotiation ports that support 10G/5G/2.5G/1000BASE-T. The 10G media converters provide two types for different applications: copper-to-fiber or fiber-to-fiber media conversion.
