OPTCORE Announce 1000BASE-BX Compact SFP (CSFP) Transceiver Module

OPTCORE, a reliable and trustworthy supplier of high-performance, cost-effective optical transceivers for fiber optic transmission, is pleased to announce the production of 1000BASE-BX Compact SFP (CSFP) transceivers.

Based on the customer’s preference, these 1000BASE-BX CSFP transceivers offer a data link option of either 20km or 40km. The Optcore Compact SFP (CSFP) transceivers feature two bidirectional channels within a standard SFP form factor, allowing network system vendors to double port density and data throughput while reducing network equipment costs.

The transceivers are compatible with the Compact Small Form-Factor Pluggable (CSFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). The CSFP transceiver consists of a 2-channel Bidirectional transceiver unit with five sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the FP or DFB laser, and the PIN photodetector.
