Optcore’s SFP-10G-DAC7M-HP is a low-cost replacement for HP J9285B. It is a high performance and cost-effective direct attach copper cable (also known as DAC). It supports the bandwidth transmission requirements as defined by 10 Gigabit-Ethernet (10GBase-CU), 8G Fiber Channel (FC) and 10G Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). It is designed for short reach links in high-speed interconnecting networking applications such as high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise networking including top-of-rack switching and network storage markets.
The J9285B compatible SFP+ DAC fully complies with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and SFF-8472. This DAC is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of HP network equipment for in-rack connections such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) Switches, Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Network Storage Systems. It’s proven to be a cost-effective alternative to high-cost J9285B HP X242 10G SFP+ 7m direct attach the cable.

This is very nice DAC cables for price. Especially if you need something what is easily work with HPE system. Just plugged in to my Aruba switch and device worked.
