A: In fact, they are identical. 100G QSFP is another name, but former one is the most common name. Some guys still use 100G QSFP to refer to 100G QSFP28.

Q: Is QSFP28 compatible with 100GBASE-SR10?
A: No. The QSFP28 only has four electrical lanes, which is insufficient to offer a 10-lane 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface. A QSFP28 can support only a 4x25G electrical interface; 10x 10GbE is not supported. Because of this, 100GbE transceivers based on SR10 cannot communicate with the it.
