Optcore’s OSP1250-312NCR-MRV is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver for 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with MRV networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters.
The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to MRV SFP-GD-MX 1000BASE-SX 1310nm MMF 2km SFP Transceiver but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling. The SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the VCSEL laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
