Optcore’s OPC1250-xx80DCR-RAD is a high-performance and cost-effective CWDM (Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing) SFP transceiver module for 1000BASE-ZX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fibre Channel application, which provides a high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. This 1G CWDM SFP transceiver module provides an 80km transmission distance over single mode fiber. It features a highly reliable CWDM DFB transmitter and PIN photodiode into LC Duplex optical connector. There are 8 center wavelengths available from 1470nm to 1610nm with each step 20nm.
The 1000BASE-ZX CWDM SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with RAD networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs), and Ethernet Media Converters. The CWDM SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to RAD 1000BASE-ZX CWDM SFP Transceiver but with a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP transceiver solution for system integrators, distributors, and end-users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
The 1G CWDM SFP ZX transceiver need uses with CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer (CWDM Mux/Demux) that is separately sold by Optcore.
