Planet compatible MGB-SX2 is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable transceiver for 1000BASE-LX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. This product is tested to be compatible with Planet networking equipment, including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. It is an ideal equivalent to Planet MGB-SX2 but with a much lower price.
