Optcore’s OXC10G-xx80DCR-HW is a high performance and cost-effective 10GBASE-ZR CWDM (Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing) XFP optical transceiver, which provides a high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. This CWDM XFP optical transceiver is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 80km over single mode fiber. It features a highly reliable CWDM EML transmitter and APD diode into duplex LC optical connector. There are 8 center wavelengths available from 1471nm to 1611nm with each step 20nm.
The 10GBASE-ZR CWDM XFP transceiver module complies with XFP MSA specifications, 10 Gigabit Ethernet specifications (10GBASE-ZR/ZW per IEEE 802.3ae ), and 10G Fibre Channel. The OXC10G-xx80DCR-HW CWDM XFP transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with HW networking equipment such as switches, routers, NICs and other optical transport devices for 10G Ethernet and high-speed storage area networks(SAN). It is an ideal equivalent to HW CWDM-XFP10G-1471~1611 XFP module at a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible 10G CWDM XFP optics solution for system integrator, distributors and ends users in data center networking infrastructure.
The 10GBASE-ZR CWDM XFP transceiver need uses with CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer (CWDM Mux/Demux) that is separately sold by Optcore.
