This Edgecore ET7402-DR1 compatible QSFP28 transceiver provides 100GBase-DR throughput up to 500m over single mode fiber. It comes from the third-party supplier – Optcore but with far lower pricing. With the built-in gearbox chip, this transceiver can convert 4x 25Gbps (NRZ) electrical signals to 1x 100Gbps (PAM4) optical signal. The transceiver complies with the QSFP28 MSA, 802.3cd 100GBASE-DR, and CAUI-4. It is suitable for fiber connectivity in large-scale data centers, enterprise core, high-performance computing, and service provider applications.
