Optcore’s OSP2125-8503DCR-CSC is a low-cost replacement of Cisco DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW SFP transceiver. It is a high-performance small form factor pluggable SFP multi-mode transceiver for 2G fiber channel short reach the application. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The 2G fiber channel SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 850nm VCSEL laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.

The OSP2125-8503DCR-CSC SFP transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment. It is an ideal equivalent to Cisco DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW 2G fiber channel SFP optical module but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP optical transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
