D-Link DEM-312GT2 Compatible module is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable transceiver for 1000BASE-LX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. This product is tested to be compatible with D-Link networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. It is an ideal equivalent to D-Link DEM-312GT2 but with a much lower price. The SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the VCSEL laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
