The CMC-ESA11-20x series is a stand-alone Micro Mini Fast Ethernet Media Converter. It is suitable for desktop and mobile applications that require lightweight, compact size, and low power. This Micro Mini media converter provides cost-effective, entry-level media conversion between 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX copper to 100BASE-FX fiber. It is a compact media converter that has a small size, which is ideal for locations where space is limited. The Mini media converter leverage its smaller size to help IT manager save space in their working environment. The compact smaller size and external power supply of the Mini media converter allow them to be used almost anywhere.
The Mrico Mini Media converter features an RJ-45 port that supports auto-negotiation with speed, duplex mode, and crossover functions for PCs with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet. The 100BASE-FX fiber port operates at the 1310nm wavelength over Singlemode fiber and support distances up to 20 km(12 miles), and available in SC, ST or FC fiber connector.
Besides of that, the Mini media converter is truly plug-and-play and it works great out of the box without more configuration request.
