8Gb/s Fibre Channel 1550nm 80km XFP ZR Optical Transceiver Module

Optcore’s OXP8G-5580DCR is a high performance and cost-effective XFP ZR transceiver module for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel (8GFC) applications, which provides links up to 80km over single mode fiber. This 8G XFP ZR transceiver module features a highly reliable 1550nm EML transmitter and APD receiver into duplex LC optical connector. The OXP8G-5580DCR transceiver module complies with XFP MSA specifications and Fiber Channel FC-PI-4 specifications. It’s suitable for use with SAN switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs) and other storage networking equipment that support XFP slot.

The 8G fiber channel XFP ZR transceiver module has been integrated with an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI), which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage. All XFP transceivers module are Class 1 laser products comply with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
