Optcore’s OXP10G-8503DCR is a high performance and cost-effective XFP SR transceiver module for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 300m over OM3 multimode fiber. This XFP SR module features a highly reliable 850nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC optical connector. The transceiver module complies with XFP MSA specifications, 10 Gigabit Ethernet specifications (10GBASE-SR/SW per IEEE 802.3ae ), and 10G Fibre Channel (1200-MX-SN-I). It’s suitable for use with 10G Ethernet switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs), fiber media converters and storage networking equipment. The OXP10G-8503DCR offers an efficient way to meet the demanding needs of the next-generation data center networking environment.

Additionally, the XFP SR transceiver module has been integrated with a digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI), which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage. All XFP optical transceivers are Class 1 laser products comply with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
