The OPT1250-8505xxCR series are high-performance and the cost-effective 1×9 multi-mode optical transceiver for high-speed serial optical communication that requires data rates of 1.25Gb/s. They are suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and 1x Fibre channel short-reach applications. This series of 1×9 optical transceivers provide a 0.55km transmission distance over multi-mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 850nm.

Each 1×9 transceiver module consists of a transmitter section and a receiver section. The transmitter incorporates a highly reliable 850 nm VCSEL Laser and a driver circuit that converts Pseudo Emitter Coupled Logic(PECL) data to the light signal. The receiver incorporates a high-speed PIN photodiode converting the light signal into an electrical current which is amplified and regenerated into PECL compatible data.

The OPT1250-8505xxCR series 1×9 transceiver provides with choice of duplex SC, FC, or ST receptacle for different clients.
